Shipping & Delivery Policies

As we strive to get you your order as fast as possible. However, we do need a bit of time to produce GREAT coffee.

We need 2 full days of production for ground flavor orders and 1 full day for whole bean and non-flavored orders. Ground Flavored order need extra time. This is to let the coffee soak in the flavoring before we grind them. For whole bean orders or ground coffees without flavoring, we need (1) one day lead time for production.

We ship via UPS. UPS Ground is extremely efficient, providing very good delivery times, UPS SurePost is a great value, but may take a bit longer. We provide tracking information and for accurate delivery information we recommend using the UPS website to track your order.

Shipments to P.O. Boxes are sent via USPS or UPS depending on weight and location. Shipments to PR, HI, AK, APO/FPO & US territories are shipped via USPS. NYGC cannot guarantee the arrival time of a package. Once we give your coffee to the shipping company, it is beyond our control. We can ship to virtually any address in the world, however, international shipping is often cost prohibitive.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. We sell coffee in (1) one-pound increments. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

FREE Delivery is available if your order is going to an address within our local delivery area, and you accept our delivery schedule and time. Our FREE delivery area consists is New York based including all of Long Island, including Brooklyn & Queens.  Excluding L.I. areas requiring tolls to access ie Fire Island, Shelter Island, etc.  Please refer to the schedule below.

Our FREE local delivery schedule is:

Tuesday - Nassau and Western Suffolk LI. Thursday – Suffolk LI. East of the Sagtikos State Parkway. (and subject to change)

Orders received without enough production time will be delivered the following week. For Tuesday deliveries, we need to receive orders by 11:00am 2 days before, or the Friday before. For Thursday deliveries we need to receive orders by 11:00am the Tuesday before delivery.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be changed or canceled. Please see our return policy for returning items.

We accept returns and the policy & procedure is described there. Please note that shipping costs are not refundable.
